A new name is coming to an old favorite in Clinton, KY—but patients can rest easy knowing that the care they’ve come to rely on is staying right where it belongs. On Wednesday, April 9, KentuckyCare Pharmacy officially opened at 107 East Clay Street, taking over the longtime location of Byassee Drug. The pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Patients and providers can still call the pharmacy using the familiar number: 270-653-2151.
While the name on the door may have changed, the friendly faces inside have not. Gretchen Hayden continues to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), and all other staff members were given the opportunity to stay. Patients can expect the same respected team ready to answer questions, fill prescriptions, and provide the care and service they know and trust.
It’s important to note that all existing prescriptions automatically transferred from Byassee Drug to KentuckyCare Pharmacy. No patient action was needed for this transfer. Additionally, KentuckyCare clinics and pharmacies accept all insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
To make managing your medications even easier, KentuckyCare Pharmacies use the RxLocal app. Through the app, you can refill prescriptions, set medication reminders, and even chat with your pharmacy team. It’s available for download in both the Google Play and Apple App stores.
